Gore SHOULD run... for Governor

I heard on CNN a commentator discussing the Davis recall drama. What was interesting is that the guy commented about Gore being a popular figure in California and being a good canidate to put on the #2 question on if there is a recall who should fill in the place.

Who thinks Al Gore as California governor would be a good idea? Is it possible?

I think it is an excellent way for Gore to stay politically active so he can come back in 2008 to get back in the White House.

if he were to have gotten back into public life in this way he should have run for the Senate or Governor from Tennessee in 2002.

13. We currently have an excellent Democratic governor, and

he's doing a good job with the hard work of trying to straighten out 8 years of Republican mismanagement.

So, much as we love Gore, he can't run for governor here until 2006 and probably won't need to by then, he'll be doing something else.

We love Al Gore, but doing something in Tennessee as his major life goal would be pretty small potatos. California, on the other hand, would be more a match for his skills. However, he's not likely to run against an incumbent Democrat.

5. Al Gore running would be DRAMATIC.

I believe that if Al Gore ran against Bush in a rematch, it could bring out the BEST in Americans. Think of it....a great Hollywood Script, or at least something Vince McMahon would recognize....Gore, robbed of the presidency by the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, Gore against the usurper to the throne, Gore against the man who destroyed the America created in part by his Vice-Presidency, Gore who tried to unite the country after Bush stole the crown, saying that he supported the President, giving him a chance.....and then Gore regaining the Presidency, bringing power back to the PEOPLE....

lol.....but seriously, I think most folks would think it was cool to have a rematch, in a Jerry Springer kind of attention getting way....

I would love to see AL get in there and win, but I think I'd have a stroke in the days leading up to the election if it were as close as last time. If it goes into double overtime recount again, gasp, there'd be riots in the streets.:nuke:

Again. He must shit or get off the pot. I realize there might be a strategy to waiting, and then charging in on a white horse. But we need unity now. Quickly. We are polarizing fast.

Personally, I don't have a dog in this fight yet. I just do not like that Lieberman dog. But if Gore jumped in ... if Gore jumped in.
