required to "get ahead" in the biz of being a media news person. Brains and intellectual curiousity are not only not required, they're frowned upon. The more docile & empty-headed, the better. A nice harmless smile is the main requirement.

start as anchor on the CNN morning show....so she's out of NBC....Do you believe she went to Harvard??? She's going to be paid something like a million bucks. Seems like she's done a lot of "light" stories according to the article.

She has no sense of humor. Jon was way over her head. When he asked her, "so what will you be covering tomorrow?" and she came back with Saddam's daughters, he was obviously jabbing at the ludicrous, timewasting nonsense of repeating that story over and over....and she missed his teasing completely.

seriously. It's the only show that doesn't bow and scrape to the Bush Reich. How sad that a comedy show has the guts and backbone our networks lack. Stewart is relentless. Yet I believe he is fair. He's not mean or petty. The entire staff is wonderful.
