Listening to Johnnie Roberts on Charlie rose & he is saying that the days of Disney as "something " are numbered & someone will buy them in time.

Did anyone else hear this & really, Disney is going to get got sometime soon by someone ?

1. I'm not sure, but Roy Disney is working hard to shake things up.
Roy Disney recently resigned, and is trying as hard as he can to pressure the stockholders to vote in a new board/CEO.

I really agree with what he is saying -- that the creativity and artistic integrity that attracted adults and children to the Disney products is rapidly dwindling to nothing. If something doesn't change soon, I agree that their days are numbered.

Check out Roy Disney's website: http://www.savedisney.com

3. Losing Pixar didnt help

Robin Williams once stated that he understood why Micky Mouse only had four fingers

"So he couldnt pick up his pay cheque"

Disney have been screwing everyone over for years and recent payouts to the decendants of Winnie the Pooh and absolute flops (Treasure Planet and Atlantis) coupled with a booming anime market (maybe because people actually WANT TO WATCH ADULT CARTOONS) have generally made them lose out.

THE PIXAR PICTURE

Old Disney/Pixar Contract
-------------------
Pixar get 50% Profit
Disney get 50% profit
Disney get 10% for distribution
RESULT: Pixar start up company goes on to make Billions

Proposed Disney/Pixar Contract
------------------------------
Pixar has billions in capital
Pixar has NO DEBT
Pixar want all profits
Disney get distribution fees as they have no creative input nor production teams.
Disney says no

Pixar pisses off and create their own distribution company.
Disney think oooh shit
