Hardball Friday: Should Gore Run? [was partially pre-empted today]
Sources from MSNBC has confirmed to Draft Gore 2004 PAC that today's segment on Gore was abbreviated, because producers wanted to continue on the topic of Bush's position on Homosexual marriage.

They also state that the panel discussion about "should Gore run" will be on the Friday Night episode of Hardball (7:30PM ET).

1. Looks like Gay marriage will be a hot issue
Both sides look like they will make this a pivitol issue in 2004. I don't see this working for Democrats in the south which is why I see the GOP keeping this front and center.

2. Yes, it apparently was...
Well, I'm not keen on a draft of any candidate.....I will not vote for a draftee because the committment is not there. I want leadership. Gore already lost to *bush in an unofficial fashion but ultimately, he lost.....he even lost his home state.....I don't want another 4 years of *bush........

3. I have to admint, Gore is appealing.
He won a majority of the popular vote before . . . I think he could do it again.

5. I seriously doubt he will run.
We already have 9 in the mix who are really working hard at their campaign. For Gore to just junp in would be political suicide. The other 9 have a following and they would be rather ticked off if Gore jumped in after he said he would not. I would be on who would be pisst. Gore the divider is how many would see it...Just like Nader. Gore could not win at this time because of it..and to officially loose would be shaming.

8. Mmmm no...
9 working hard? I don't think all 9 are.

Gore jumping in would save us from 1984 II.

And if you'd look at how the support for Gore is gathered, it is mostly FROM the supporters of other candidates.

Gore would be uniting what IS divided now. Anyone complaining about him entering the race would be the divider.

7. Blah blah
I don't want 4 more years of Bush, which is WHY I want Gore to run.

4. The Segment on GORE Was at the End
with Jerry BROWN and was mostly significant for Tweety's saying, showing a poll of GORE leading the current candidates, "Maybe for now. We might GO AFTER HIM AGAIN."

6. Hence the ''Partially Pre-Empted''
We've been assured by Hardball Staff that today was in fact abbreviated for the above reason and is in the rotation for Friday's episode.
