Just wondering if this might be a political tactic for them. Like raising retail prices before a sale

The GOP knows full well that the economy has gone to shit and that they have a whole bunch of people who have NO CHOICE but to join for the paycheck. They are called the Cheap Labor Party for a reason.

Maybe they can fool the press by paying the soldiers with monopoly money,but you can't squeeze blood from a stone and you can't pay with money that isn't there.
