Sounded like the Anti-Catholic charge stung a bit though. The Dems better be careful. Its starting to look an awful lot like any observant Christian is going to face filibuster due to the abortion issue even if they can demonstrate they will enforce the law and observe precedent. That's not going to play well with moderate to liberal Catholics and Protestants methinks.

1. I am not because Pryor was not the man for a court
they are chirping here. We dont mind men of religion but we do mind men of religion who are how should I put it RW slimeballs.

So pissed that I'll vote for anybody but Bush in 2004, that is. I hope the nominee is Kermit. He seems environmentally friendly enough.

3. What a load of crap
I expect 90 percent of judges to be religiously observant. I do want them to know that religion has no place in the law. I am deeply offended at Scalia's almost open religious agenda. My religious freedom is in deep danger by religious judges.
