5. Weapons Programs

If they're going to plant anything it would likely be evidence of WMD programs. It's much easier and less suspicious than planting the actual weapons, and recently both the British and American governments havn't mentioned WMDs and have starting talking about weapons programs. Either way the media will present it as a tremendous victory for Bush and act as if it justifies the war.

They asked him point blank whether any stockpiles had been found. Quoted the article that came out yesterday. He would not answer. Jumped all around it. Warner finally came in and saved his butt and said there was no finality to the search. I think he's going to come up with bags of beans, a few parts and 50 truck loads of paper and say it's a program.

And besides, they still couldn't have known Iraq was a threat if they didn't know where one single weapon or facility was to begin with.
