Do those two things seem incongruous or is it just me. He worked for a racist and then out of the goodness of his heart went to help inner city kids in houston. Why doesn' t the press ask this question?

It seems that after his conversion to Christianity Georgie actually went straight for a while. So it could be that he worked in Houston afterwards. Or it could be like the previous guy said, a court forced him to do it.
