3. I'm Not a Nascar Dad or Soccer Mom but I know many.
Edited on Sat Feb-14-04 03:05 PM by PROGRESSIVE1
My little New England hamlet leans to the right (ever so slightly)
and we are not "Ronnieland", thank you GOD!

Alot of my neighbors are your typical white, middle class, small
business owning, Rethugs. There are alot of Soccer Moms out there
who voted for Bush in 2000 but are going to support the Democratic
nominee, whoever it is in 2004. They KNOW THAT BUSH HAS NO INTEGRITY. However, their husbands are still gung-ho on "Bushler the Warlord", but at least the women have awaken to the dangers of *.

6. Nice but...
In every state except for New Hampshire (although your hamlet could very well be there, in which case, this news is very good), a Democratic sweep of New England is a fait accompli.

4. yes - coworker who listens to Toby Keith and has SUPPORT THE TROOPS
on all of her email correspondence. Of course, that there is her entire contribution to "supporting the troops". When I questioned her she said she didn't know anyone in Iraq. I pointed out that I don't either but I still mail a care package to Iraq about every three weeks. When I offered to get her a soldier's address, of course she declined. I despise people like her. They are pro-war and pro-Bush but it SICKENS me when they call themselves "pro-troops".

5. I thought soccermoms voted democratic...
And if that's not the case, then somebody explain to me why there's always a few democratic congressmen/women complaining about violent video games or more recently Janet's tits.

7. I'm assuming most Nascar fans lean to the right
so the fact that these people are "in play" this election does not bode well for shrub.

10. My Mom used to be a soccer mom..
about 6 years ago. She's a huge Clinton fan. She's largely silent about the Chimp (a few complaints here and there), but thinks he won't be re-elected. And she has a pretty good record with predictions for a non-politics junkie..

11. I love Nascar
I can't wait for tomorrow.

It's true, Nascar fans usually lean right, but if you talk to some of these people you find out that they are just misinformed and don't pay alot of attention to politics.
Sure you get your hard core righties, but I don't care.

I just love cars. Always have.

13. I would be if I had kids.
But I don't. I am a NY Nascar fan. Not a big fan, but I enjoy the races and some of the drivers.

14. I don't know if I fit the description perfectly
I am a stay-at-home mom who drives a minivan, and lives in a suburb, so I'd probably be mistaken for one, at any rate.

This is one soccer mom who can't wait to see Bush out on his butt, and will be voting Democratic.

16. I'm one
Not a Nascar fan, I think I'd rather kiss George Bush than watch people drive a car in circles, but I'm a SAHM who leads a " conservative " life. This morning was guitar lessons for one son, Special Olympics for the other, and my husband and I are about as liberal as they come.
