Prosecution of an Outgoing Administratioin?
Has an incomming Administraton ever taken the step of appointing a group to actively look for prosecutable offenses by its predecessor?

I realize it might not be in good form but I swear, I want the next Democratic President to form a commission to look into treason by this administraton and I want it to happen on day 1 of the term.

I think it is something that needs to be addressed by each of the remaining would be candidates. Will he go after the law breaking that is taking place right now, today?

1. Prosecution And My Own Petty Proposal
After the allegations involving the state of the White House when the Runnin' W posse moved in, I think that a video crew ought to go in and start taping to see if the Bushies are as tidy as they claim, with extra attention to areas occupied by Grover Norquist and some of the other prizes of the Runnin' W posse.

2. Sure, the investigation of presidential pardons
A Republican wannabe attorney from the Federal Attorney's office in NYC was appointed in hopes to discredit and reverse President Clinton's absolute right to grant presidential pardons during the waning days of his administration. The attorney who hoped to make a name for herself silently issued a report about a year later stating the obvious, that the president is absolutely privileged in his Constitutionally granted pardon powers.

For their obvious crimes against the American people and their war crimes against humanity?

5. Now is not the time to yell "Impeach him"
Since the asses of evil control the congress, screaming about impeachment is at best a waste of energy and at worst a distraction from our optimum strategy.

Too many people still think Bush* is a man of his word and has integrity. The only way to get those people to see the emperor has no clothes is to take them through it slowly, a little step at a time. Remember we aren't dealing with Mensa. Most people want to think the best of the guy--in spite of the evidence. We have to make sure they see and understand all the little lies before we can convince them about ShrubCo's big lies.

Once we have totally chipped away the cheap veneer of "character" that the Chimp has hidden behind, we can then hunt bigger game.

4. unfortunately...
...Dems are always forgiving attacks on the Constitution. Way back to the 1930s when the same gang of thugs nearly brought about a coup against FDR. FDR set it aside, in order to get along.

They will not stop until they feel pain. We MUST hold them accountable.
