I don't think I imagined this earlier today. Somebody on TV said Shrub
was going to drive the pace car! I have no idea what channel it was or who said it, was rushing out to the airport for a quick run to Dallas.
Did anybody else hear this? Maybe I'm just goofy...

1. I think I read that it was Ben Affleck
NYT had a story. It sounded as though Rove had set things up for Bush.

3. Does * even have a valid driver's license?
Given the twin diffaculties of being the POTUS and not clearly living in one state when would he have had the opportunity to renew it?

5. he had a new drivers license issued...
...shortly after he became governor. The new number obliterated his old drivers record. Convenient, eh?

6. that falls under the same clause as the military
he would be able to drive with his expired licence until he is no logner President, then he will have ten days to renew it in his home of record, aka Texas

13. the bulletproof pace car surrounded by a solid retinue of SS?
that pace car?
dream on, wannabe!
the yellow-bellied snake didn't even have the balls to get out of the armored car to go from one end of Buckingham Palace to the other. he had to establish "free speech zones" as a buffer between his lying ass and the people. only in his dreams would he have the courage to face a stadium full of potential draftees in his greed-head fraud war. I guess he thinks he's going to add a fake NASCAR driving suit to his closet full of fake get-ups, like the fake mighty aviator suit he wore when he made his "Mission Accomplished" speech.

hoo boy! don't get me started! :)

15. I bet they made him piss in a bottle

and blow into a breathalyzer machine before they would let him get behind the steering wheel, and when the test results came back, they said, "Sorry Mr. President, you'll just have to watch from the stands." That might be why Dubya got in a huff and left early. :)

16. He got in a huff and left?
I would have gotten in Air Force One and left!
(Thank you. I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your waitress.)

But seriously, folks... I believe Ben Affleck drove the pace car, but the pResidential motorcade made a lap or two around the circuit beforehand (I figure they had to stop after the first two because all the beer bottles thrown at the limousine were going to pose a hazard to the racers). I don't believe it was ever intended for boosh to stay for the whole race -- he was just there to trickle down some of his good ol' boy MANLY-MAN charm ( :puke: ) on the peons and then, like Sky King, jettison off into the blue of the western sky, heading to his next destination to spread Truth, Justice, and the American Way like pouring warm diarrhea over pistachio ice cream.

I don't hink he gives a damn about NASCAR; unless he has $ invested in it.
