Watergate 30years ago

Did anyone see the special documentary on PBS this morning
on Watergate, I know I was only 10years old when it was going on.
The similarities to that whitehouse and this one today is too
scary. But the things that Bush has done and what Nixon did
makes watergate look like a tea party.
It was one of the best documentary's I have seen,
How Nixon crumbled, and everything dominoed, the committee, and all
the players involved, like Liddy, and Hunt were the main thugs.
I guess that is typical republican style.

And there are more than passing similarities between the two corrupt administrations. Frankly you could throw Reagan's admin in there as well. The Democrats wouldn't take him on when they had countless opportunities with Iran/Contra too. The similarities between the Reagan era Democrats and today's Democrats are also scary. They are too worried about their political careers to do the right thing. The lessons of Watergate and bu$h "Exaggergate or Prevarigate" are the same, absolute power corrupts absolutely. These people think they are above the law and that the ends justify the means. They both wanted to be dictators. I just hope that bu$h goes down in history the same humiliating way as Nixon, he is a bigger crook after all.
