Candace Gingrich (yes, Gingrich) v. Falwell on gay marriage on Hannity
Well, how interesting (if anything on the Hannity show can be considered interesting). Candace Gingrich cut Jerry Falwell a new one on gay marriage (Falwell: "God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve." Now, that was original). Sean was Lost. Falwell was totally ineffective, and even Sean knew it. Sean scurried away as soon as he could.

1. Newt's half sister....
Gingrich is National Coming Out Project Manager (NCOP) at the Human Rights Campaign Fund (HRC) in Washington, DC. Her half-brother is former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.

5. seems to me that when you engage in civil disobedience
you usually suffer some sort of consequence. i.e. letter from birmingham jail

this would be the easiest way to settle this: someone enjoins the mayor of SF from going ahead with gay marriages - mayor goes ahead - found in contempt - sentenced to a nominal sentence - thus beginneth the appellate process, and then they can get to the state supreme court, or the 9th circuit, and bring the issue to an appropriate head.

my views aside, i really do think it will come down to disobeying an injunction.
