MSNBC reporting right now about a serious respiratory disease, different from SARS, that's already killed 2 troops in Iraq and has sickened at least 17 others.

Kidding aside, if the casualties alone - in light of the bogus information isn't enough to fire Joe and Jane Sixpack into an uproar over what's happening to their sons & daughters over there ... I don't know what else it will take.

I hope they diagnose and are able to treat whatever it is, soon !

I'll nose around a bit; see what I can find. There were, of course, epidemics of heroin and opium use, as well as the whole agent orange thing. But mysterious or not-so-mysterious flu-like illness outbreaks - hmmmmm. I'll take a look.
