Who pays Matt Drudge?
Edited on Thu Feb-19-04 06:30 PM by Onlooker
Matt Drudge supposedly "earns" $800K per year. (If you do a search on Google for "Drudge earns"--use the quotation marks--you'll find a few sites that support this claim.)

Who pays Drudge? Is he paid by the VRWC or is he paid by a company that should also support another point of view?

Thanks.

3. probably based on ad revenue..
and..
if he's paid by a company, why should the company also support another point of view if it shares Drudge's pov?

5. There called "impressions" , "clickthrus", & "open rates"
Edited on Thu Feb-19-04 06:45 PM by vadem0557
Internet advertisers pay by the number of impressions--the number of times an ad is seen (webpage/email), clickthrus--the number of times an ad is clicked on(webpage/email), & the open rate which is the total number of emails read divided by the number of emails sent (for newsletters/email/spam etc..). Mr. Dud has many ways to make money off the poor content of his site. Its probably very profitable for him---he just regurgitates the news out there, gets a few newsbreakers, and gossips. Not much overhead (literally & figuratively). On edit--just went to his site---he uses popups--don't click on them and he won't get paid as much.
