Let's assume these have occurred as of the end of October 2004.

20. but if you're going to go there...
you may as well start bringing out the other reasons, you may as well start bring up his "carpet of gold or carpet of bombs" discussion with the Taleban the summer before 9/11 when he was trying to get a pipeline across iraq.

but that's just heresay, or so they'll tell you.

10. Rate of Change
The killer would be for long term interest rates to dramatically rise. This would increase home mortgage rates, kill the housing market, increase unemployment, lower corporate profitability and stock values.

This BushLeague economy is built on debt and more debt. A sudden sharp rise in rates would release the dogs of financial war on the AWOL regime. If it is perpetrated by the bond vigilantes, there is nothing that the Politburo over at the fed could do about it.

Game, Set, Match...

~O~

21. But they couldn't blame that one on Clinton.
The Democratic candidate would make huge gains by saying I told you so. Bush* is a miserable failure at protecting our country.

22. well...since this is hypothetical...
IMHO, God coming down from heaven in a giant fireball, reigning brimstone upon the world, proclaming in a glow of ethereal effulgence that it would be nice is Bush is voted out of office.
