Draft: inspired by another thread

Any dems pro-draft? Why? I won't bite, I'm just wondering, I'd like to hear from some vets too.

My opinion is that today it isn't needed. Back in ww2 or something, I would have gone honestly, they would not have even had to draft me. But now? I don't know. Who is someone else to tell you to kill?
