He is probably working on something with a little more production value.

7. Because the CIA sound techs only have the Saddam samples loaded into their
... computers now. Though once the PNAC'ers are able to create a fictional scenario with Saddam and Osama hiding out together in some other country (say Syria or Iran, possibly Pakistan), they will have to buy some additional RAM and mix the two together.

didn't you hear? Saddam is the new Osama! Jeez, might as well pull out your 8-tracks, with that backwards thinking!

11. Cuts at CIA as funds moved to Iraq - unit making tapes full time of
Saddam.

But they are having a practice now and then with Syria and Iran and Saudi and Korean leader tapes, and even Osama.

Bush needs fear for re-elect.

But we may unfreeze a body and "get one" (Saddam or Osama or Omar) before the election if that idea does well in the focus groups.

12. i read in rolling stone..
that he's in studio right now. Problem is, his producer walked midway through the project, and they had to bring in Rick Rubin to finish off the album. Expect a single and B-side by Xmas.

19. Because he's dead?
Not being one to readily don the tinfoil hat, but BUsh NEEDS bin Laden. How else can the administration evoke fear and mindless support without a mysterious bogeyman out there, wishing to do us ill? The guy was, by all accounts, in poor health before the bombing of Tora Bora. Without a threat to the USA, Bush hasn't any leverage.

Think about it. Osama was a complete whore when it came to releasing videos, prior to 9/11. Since the Afghanistan actions, he's been strangely silent. A few audio tapes have been released, and attributed to bin Laden by our government, only to be disputed by the experts of other countries.

No boogeyman = less fear = fewer votes for Bush.
