To all neocon lurkers, freepers and trolls.
Just how American is it for U.S. corporations to ship your jobs overseas?

Just how patriotic is it for the President of the United States to not give two hoots about your job, and to vigorously act to stop states from enacting laws to prevent your jobs from going overseas?

I was just interested in knowing if you have grown tired of the pretender (fucking joke of a human) in the White House and if you will enjoy working for Burger World?

Does anybody want to reply.

1. They're like victims in an abusive relationship
They won't admit Shrub is hurting them and allow the bullshit to continue. I guess that's a kind description-it's better then calling them all morons.

I think if any "wright wing conspiracy" people would respond they could be banned.

5. He didn't take responsibility...
He "said" he takes responsibility for the things he says, but we all know that's a blatant lie. He made it appear as though he was owning up to his SOTUS lies, but that wasn't the case at all. In the next sentence, he tried (and failed) to justify his invasion of Iraq. Listening to Bush give a 'press conference', it's not hard to picture a 6 yr. old child giving similar, and much better responses to questions.

What we hear and what we get from the man are two different things. The only time he tells the truth is when it regards killing. He will definitely keep his word and not budge when it comes to slaughtering human beings.

He has not taken responsibility for the lies he used to drag America and Iraq into an unjustifiable war, and his saying he does is a slap in the face to anyone with half a brain.

10. I think they should heavily tax corporations
and only give them tax deductions based on the number of living wage jobs they create in this country.

P.S. Hey freepers, what do you think of your president taking a nice month long vacation while more and more Americans are out of work?

14. Not a freeper
but as a fairly conservative Dem I will tell you that Clinton signed NAFTA and GATT in additon to increasing H1B Visas, etc. The simple sad fact is that neither party has shown that they give a hoot about American jobs going overseas. It wasn't as big an issue in the 90's because the economy was better, but I know firsthand that many high tech workers began losing their jobs then. NEITHER PARTY CARES!!!! Not the leadership anyway.

22. So, if you're a "conservative" Dem...
then which candidate do you support? One would think that a conservative Dem would support a candidate who is in favor of NAFTA and GATT. If you are a Democrat and don't support the positions of the "leadership" meaning the DLC or the Lieberman wing of the party then why do you consider yourself a "conservative" Democrat? Just curious.

23. I appreciate your curiousity
and I don't blame you for questioning where I'm coming from. I call myself a conservative Dem because I am fiscally conservative. Until I can be convinced that Government spends our money wisely and there is not an obscene amount of abuse and waste, I am in favor of just about any tax cut that is proposed. Although I myself am far from rich and have suffered through severe lean times, I reject arguments of class warfare and taxcuts "for those that need it least." I also cringe at phrases such as "working families" and "middle class tax cuts." What is the monetary income definition? If you make a combined income of 100k are you no longer a "working family." Is there a distinction between income earned in Mississippi and New Jersy? As someone who has lived in both the north and the south, I cam assure you that the same income can mean different standards of living depending upon the region where you reside. We Dems fail to make these distinctions.

I see no problem with experimental school voucher programs in places like D.C. I am also open to the idea of partial privatization of S.S. and Medical Savings accounts.

I am socially liberal. I am pro choice, pro gay rights, against the WOD etc. I also am against free trade agreements that endanger American jobs. Although I consider myself a conservative Dem, that issue often sets me apart from those I most support. Those I most agree with are the hated here Zell Miller, Ben Nelson, and John Breaux.

As for who I support in '04. it is certainly not Lieberman. His "Holy Joe" attitude and righteous persona turn me off. There will never be a perfect candidate for me due to the partisan nature of the primary syatem, but at this point I'd like Edwards to win. I doubt that is possible and I will vote for whoever the Dem candidate is. Unless in the un;ikely event it is Kuchinch (sp?), Sharpton, or Braun. I would never vote for anyone of them.

Sorry for the diatribe but I hope that clears it up for you.

16. Curious trend where I work
only the Freepers have lost their jobs. So far. The owners are Republican. The old kind of Republican, fiscally conservative (does that still apply to Republicans?) but not inclined to push for legislation which pushes the Christian agenda or legislates morality. Yet, the guys who have been cut loose have been outspoken wingers. Maybe it's just coincidence. We have quite a mix of people -- quite a range politically. Maybe they were viewed as too disruptive. Plus, their work ethic wasn't quite what it should be. Not terrible. Just not as dedicated as many others. None have been able to find work.

Dollar?
Debt?
People will be happy to live in Burger King Land in the future...
NO capitalist construct and 'talking points' could possibly stick handle future debt--sheer violence and loud public screens telling the citizens to obey is the only way to handle the 'future'

I am begging you to destroy me with your logic, your rapier wit and doublewide syntax.

Email me if you're too timid for the DU hotbed. I'll bite.
