He said that in the opinion of Dr Hunt the main factor in bringing about Dr Kelly's death was bleeding from an incised wound to his left wrist. Removal of watch and spectacles suggested a deliberate act of self-harm, Dr Hunt found.

Would careful methodical preperation include a suicide note to his wife to let her know that he did it himself?

I watched Lord Hutton's remarks live on the BBC, and when he mentioned the four electro-cardiogram pads on Dr. Kelly's chest, my ears perked up. Was someone else monitoring Dr. Kelly to ensure he was dead?

I wouldn't put it past Blair to resort to assassination, just as Bush has done.

I can't come up with any myself. It makes no sense. Plus how can you slash your wrist without your glasses, and, then if you take them off once you've done it they might have blood on them.

Arghh. Plus does anyone know anything about the Lord Hutton guy, is he a good independent source or does he have party affiliations. I wish "E.K.G pads" was in the post-header for this thread, I was going to start one just on this topic, but I don't want to start a dupe.

So, did he see a doctor after leaving the house? Is that how he got the painkillers?

What was the position of the body? When did he take the painkillers? What did he wash them down with? Was the liquid found near the body?
