Apparently, Gavin Newsom has been receiving an enormous volume of vitriolic, vicious hatemail, including death threats, for doing the right thing and allowing those who wish to commit their lives to one another to marry. I am sending him a thank-you note to try to help counter the onslaught of nastiness.

I was hoping Matt Gonzales would win in the SF Mayoral election but Gavin Newsom has got my respect for standing up to the righties and fundies for allowing same sex couples an opportunity to unite in matrimony as they should. Mayor Newsom should keep fighting those who would try to stop them.
