5. As far as policy goes... |

... isn't the policy of the USA that people from countries that are considered to be oppressive can find refuge in the USA? Thus the difference between Haitian and Cuban refugees based upon our relationship with each countries government.
Another question:
Jean-Bertrand Aristide was restored to power in 1994. Operation Restore Freedom was a great foreign policy triumph for the Clinton administration. What happened? Do you believe it was a CIA op?

6. Aristide was restored to power by Clinton |
|
He followed Constitutional law and after his term was up stepped down according to Haiti's constitution. Then Rene' Preval was elected and served his five year term with no problems. The people asked Aristide to run again as he is/was an extremely popular leader. He was again elected by a huge majority (over 70%) and then along comes Bush*. Now the same thugs that overthrew democracy in the early ninties during Bush 1 are back at it again. Bush* is not supporting democracy and in fact is giving covert support to the thugs trying to overthrow the government. These thugs happen to be wealthy white land barons while the people and Aristide are Black. It is a an overthrow of democracy that is supported by the GOP in America.

7. Yes I think the CIA is involved. More importantly, so does Maxine Waters. |

2. Waters hints at CIA involvement in Aristede overthrow attempt. |
|
She say his opponents are comprised of remnants of the old regime. Waters states that Aristede must remain in office until his term of office is over in 2006. "We must support democratically elected governments" she said.

4. The entire Black Caucus is unanimously for backing Aristide |
|
Letters have been sent by almost every member to the Administration begging for the US to support Democracy. Guess what? Bush* supports the thugs instead of Democracy.
