I am watching and listening. Spinney, the Pentagon analyst lays out how utterly rotten the "Military Industrial Congressional Complex". A massive money machine moving money from the citizen to the MIC coffers with the Congress, Dems and Repugs, enabling the system. There is no accountability of costs or systems functioning or even if the sytesm has a military benefit. Guns that don't work, ballistic missile sytems that are not tested because the manufacturer doesnt' think they will pass the test and this may result in stopping the program!!
A complete breakdown in accountability and we are going to pay. If we don't do something about it it will destroy this country.

Purportedly a bunch of people with box cutters have beat a multi-trillion dollar MIC and everybody sits around intriqued with "Survivor" or "Seinfeld".

OMG, that guy was amazing...I hope someone can post the MP3's on DU, because I missed the first 20 minutes -

No one in government can be trusted, it's not just Jr. and his cronies, it's everybody. Bombs, and defense systems that probably are duds and won't do a hill of beans to prevent the next terrorist from boarding an airplane.

When it was reported yesterday that defense spending was keeping this economy afloat - now I understand just how it all works across this country.
