Most Americans – even Repubs – are decent people, and when the chips are down will do the good and decent thing. It’s hard getting good info out to the folks, but when they get it, most (or at least enough) will respond in an admirable fashion.

Maybe I’m naïve, but I have an undying faith in the ultimate decency of humanity, despite our many failings. We may travel a shitty path, but ultimately we arrive at a better destination.

If she really has been to 67 Dead shows there must be scads of people out there who know the dirt on her drinking/drugging days, and don't tell me she abstained. Why can we not get some dirt on her? 2. Liberalism is a pacifistic and secular philosophy.

3. Freedom of thought and speech is a cornerstone for the function of a healthy society because they allow people to decide their views for themselves and also ensure ample feedback from the people into the government (dictators are told what they want to hear, not what is).
