"Are you still beating your dog?" Or, should we move forward?
Edited on Sun Feb-29-04 09:57 PM by wellstone_democrat
Seriously, I would like some scientific evidence that you have stopped beating your dog. No anecdotes please! I've posted this on a conservative forum and now I would like to bring the question to you liberals! I'm not flaming! I really want to learn!

So, watta y'all think of the rash of these questions? Guess if you tie up the board with the equivalent of "All Laci/Janet's boob/etc. all the time" then the Democrats can't get up to mischief questioning the policies of Our Glorious Leader, can't organize and gee whiz...they turn on each other viciously enough---or get to arguing how many angels can dance on the head of a pin---they might self-destruct.

So, if you are truly interested in nonsense questions designed to turn us on each other, answer the question. But, if you are not and are interested in a progressive future, I would like to respectfully suggest that we stop "playing"

on edit: corrected subject line (so...stop PM'ing me :-)

2. hey

That was mine.

And those angels dance on the points of needles, not the heads of pins, I'll have you know.

And you'd better have some statistics to back up that heads of pins stuff if you know what's good for you.

Me, I play a mean tune on the alert button. ;)

6. that was indeed yours!
I only "borrow" from the best.

I did hit alert until I began to doubt my own sanity today. To burn off a bit of frustration...well, here we are.

3. Since I have cats.....
I have to wonder what perfect planet produces someone who doesn't know what discrimination is without statistical evidence. Even anthropology texts use anecdotes from anthropologists who live with various peoples. People get PhDs from these studies.

The first question may have been serious and I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but when I saw the second one, all bets are off.

Not playing.

Got more important things to do, like head over to the caucuses on Tuesday.

5. Bush says "No. Because the dog died last week..."
White House spokkkesman Snot McClellan stated that it was "just a vicious rumor that the dog sustained multiple trauma injuries. When we release the autopsy report in full, the Resident will be vindicated..."

7. "Unfortunately Dennis Hastert has blocked the release of the report
We here at the WH really, truly wish that we could tell you everything, but alas the Speaker is blocking the release of the autopsy report and the President doesn't want to do anything to show disrespect for his office."

So, you'll just have to believe us or....else you are playing politics!
