Did anyone see Sandy Rios on "Real Time With Bill Maher"???
Edited on Sun Feb-29-04 09:39 PM by battleknight24
Its hard to believe that such a good looking woman (at least in my opinion) can be such a narrow-minded, prejudiced b*tch... during her short interview with Maher, I laughed out loud at some of the outlandish stuff she was saying, yet at the same time I felt like throwing something at my TV...

Peace,

6. The reason the Roman Empire
fell, according to Sandy, was because of homosexuality. No mention of the Roman armies sent to numerous foreign occupations and campaigns. No mention of the grievous lack of attention to domestic affairs. No. That would be too, well, reminiscent of the current regime.

8. Let's also not forget that "Christianity" was the state religion of Rome..
....when the empire fell. A fact conveniently ignored by the fundamentalists.

7. it was a fairly impressive display...
I was actually embarrassed for her when the audience would blurt out laughing while she was in mid rant. The thing that is funny, is she marginalizes the anti-gay crowd by sounding like such a nut case...are all anti-gay people that nutty?? I really think she did her cause a huge dis-service with her comments, which is a beautiful thing. I wonder if that was a liberal, Al Franken or like, if it would have been replayed on every news channel about how unstable the liberals are??...Kevin.
