Soldiers iraq and suicides

This is a subject which should be brought up again and again by the press - i count them as casualties, just as fatal as bombs!

1. Nothing is being reported on the news

The war in Iraq is still going on, and no one seems to give a shit
the kids are coming back (yes kids) with PTSD and they are trying to commit suicide over there all the time..
No one seems to care anymore.

My husband and I have to wait for a year before Michael comes home. Hes 21, we have no idea where he is, and the units are telling the kids not to let the parents know whats really going on. We havent heard from him in over a week.
He just got there . If I hear one more person tell me "the war is over" I may scream.

2. my sympathies

I can imagine how you feel. Do you know of any other mothers in your predicament? Perhaps you can get together and start an association - give it a name such as Mothers of Soldiers in Iraq or something similar - they wouldnt dare touch you then.
