What? OK, I missed this one. Can someone please supply a link or something about this? I so want to have this particular "gun" in my weapons locker.

3. I assume he means "Whitewater"
The original allegations died very early. The rest was a Witch Hunt.

4. Whatever it is they are talking about...
...in the Top 10 Idiots today.

Could just be WhiteWater, but it kinda sounded like something a bit bigger, and would have come out about a year ago roughly. Could be wrong.

2. A report cleared the Clintons of Whitewater very early....
Done by the overseers of the Savings and Loans, I think. Sorry, can't remember the acronym right now.

The whole tale is told in Gene Lyons and Joe Conason's book--The Hunting of the President. Soon to be a major motion picture.

5. Name a report, any report...
There were five different investigations of Whitewater AFTER the initial Resolution Trust S&L investigation (Pillsbury Madison Sutro, Al D'Amato's Senate Banking Committee, Independent Counsel Robert Fisk's investigation, Ken Starr's witchhunt, and Robert Ray's Adventures in Futility) and they ALL found "no evidence of wrongdoing" by the Clintons.

Fisk, Starr and Ray all looked into Vince Foster's suicide, and they all found "no evidence of wrongdoing" by the Clintons.

Ray looked into Pardongate and any other crap he could think of and found "no evidence of wrongdoing" by the Clintons.

Dan Burton and the House Government Reform Committee spent years beating their meat in public, calling the wrong witnesses, shooting melons, etc....and nothing came of that.

6. It's very simple, Yes Clinton was cleared.
According to the Independent Counsel requirements, the IC had an obligation to either indict, or exonerate the subject of an investigation.

They didn't indict, therefore they had to exonerate. Now Robert Ray, played fast and loose with the law, claiming that he may bring charges in the future and therefore he wasn't exonerating Bill Clinton. However this flies in the face of the intent of the Independent Counsel Law. Which was set up to prevent this sort of abuse.

Robert Ray was an ethically challenged IC, how can someone who is supposedly independent, launch a political campaign? He was making a run for a New Jersey Senate seat, while he was finishing the Whitewater report.

He is not above the law, he is supposed to enforce the laws not write them. He disgraced himself with his partisan actions.
