Cambridge Filmmaker, Errol Morris, Post-Oscar Comments regarding BushCo

<snip>
"Asked whether he'd like the current administration to see the documentary, which airs former Defense Secretary Robert McNamara's doubts about the Vietnam War, Morris said: "If they are willing to watch it, they can have it. Anytime they want. Have I made a connection between today and 40 years ago? Absolutely. . . . And if this movie, `The Fog of War,' contributes to the debate, then I'm immensely relieved.""

Aside from his rabbit hole comment during his acceptance speech, it seems Morris sees the parallels between today's situation and the one we were in during the '60s.

1. Bush* will not watch the documentary, but ...
"informed" members of his administration will brief him on the content.

2. When asked by a reporter if he would watch the documentary, Bush said:
"Don't be silly, 'Skip'. You can't 'watch' a documentary. You READ a documentary! You should know, you're a documentarian!"

4. Which means he will have it explained to him
he is perfectly capable of reading children's books, but we can't be sure of his ability to read grown-up books.
