in 1983 and 1988 - neither of which looks right to me (I'd say the covered up final figure has a flat bottom - like a 2). As you say, it's too convenient anyway that the year is covered to stop a quick check of an archive. They've taken a photo apparently in perfect focus, but they didn't bother to unfold the corner? Like hell (so to speak).

No need to verify with the Chronicle, it's pretty clearly a fake.

- The font used for the date doesn't match the font used for the date on the following page that can be seen through the paper.

- The color doesn't quite match where the "artist" erased the original date.

- The partially covered date appears to be 198X. The date on the following page - which can bee seen fairly clearly - is 2004.

- Kerry's "shadow" on the image behind them doesn't match. It's much darker than the shadow cast behind LeVey.

is when the image is "scanned" slightly crooked like this one. If this were a real image and as damaging as it's trying to be, do you think the person who scanned it would just slap it willy-nilly on the scanner and not make an attempt to straiten it out? Freepers iz dum.
