i was watching "the daily show" and was surfing during a commercial break and came upon a vigorous discussion of haiti.

1. I saw the tail end of it, when Charlie Rose desperately sought help
from the Official Story Guardians to comfort him because Jeffrey Sachs' assertion that the Bush administration--including beloved "moderate" Colin Powell--was lying was too upsetting for poor Charlie to bear. "Help me," he actually said.
