RFID Tags in New US Notes Explode When You Try to Microwave Them

We are being tracked via our money... Why am I not suprised.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/022904rfidtagsexplode.html

Want to share an event with you, that we experienced this evening.. Dave had over $1000 dollars in his back pocket (in his wallet). New twenties were the lion share of the bills in his wallet. We walked into a truck stop/travel plaza and they have those new electronic monitors that are supposed to say if you are stealing something. But through every monitor, Dave set it off. He did not have anything to purchase in his hands or pockets. After numerous times of setting off these monitors, a person approached Dave with a 'wand' to swipe why he was setting off the monitors.

...

Dave and I have brainstormed the fact that most items can be 'microwaved' to fry the 'rfid' chip, thus elimination of tracking by our government.

So we chose to 'microwave' our cash, over $1000 in twenties in a stack, not spread out on a carasoul. Do you know what exploded on American money?? The right eye of Andrew Jackson on the new twenty, every bill was uniform in it's burning... Isnt that interesting?

...

3. Try Microwaving your $20's

They do burn in the center. They do have rfid's in them. This is not tinfoil hat theory.

6. I tried it. Nothing.
Also, I work in high-tech and have access to microscopes, chemicals, and electronic test equipment. I checked. NOTHING.

Besides, the software and neworking to track what person has what bill at any given moment would outstrip the best computers currently available.

This is the same sort of ignorance-fueled paranoia that helps the right wing manipulate their evil minions. I had one goof yesterday tell me that he was a "moderate" and then go on to tell me that Israel controls the US Media and the Bush family are the only politicians who defy them.

Tinfoil hats indeed.

14. The ink is probably metallic for counterfiet detection purposes.
I will put it in the SEM and see. Could take a few days.

11. Eminently practical.
But where's your sense of inquisitiveness?

I had great fun enlisting the NRA paranoiac metallurgist down the hall in investigating another Government Conspiracy.

18. I think you need a fat stack of them.
I couldn't get a single or a pair to even pop. An RFID tag would pop a neat little pinhole in a single bill very quickly. Microvave a CD ROM to see what it would look like.

2. I don't think the tin foil is
wrapped tight enough around your head. Also you might want to try adding some Vaseline in between layers for extra protection (It supposedly distorts the signal which causes it to bounce back and forth between the layers).

5. The same kind that carries $1000 in cash....
Having lived in West Philadelphia while attending college, I will never carry more than $100 cash on my person. In today's age, there's hardly a reason to.

21. Always carry enough for a fix. The robbers will be satisfied with
that. If you don't have enough, they will get pissed.

Lived on the west side of Detroit.

7. The kind who thinks they are being tracked.
I can make a grape catch fire in a microvave. Do you suppose the Chilean fruit growers are feeding us trackable grapes? Or is there a secret warehouse in Long Beach where "The Government" pays thousands of illegal chinese aliens (that are sworn to secrecy and never let free to roam the docks) to embed the chips in the grapes?

Good grief.

But hey, it sure is fun to lampoon it.

17. Was this stuff in a stack when you did it?
Looks like highest heat concentration is in the middle, which is consistent with microwave absorption patterns.

And yeah, I'm workin for the Shadow Government.

Gads. Did you even take high-school physics?

10. Why? What do you figure happens?
Haven't you ever microwaved paper? Say, by placing your bacon
on a few sheets of paper towels to soak up the grease?

Because paper is basically a dry, non-polar insulator, it
doesn't heat in the microwave oven. (As someone observed
on another reply, the ink on the money may be a different
story.)

Of course, if the paper is the only thing *IN* the oven at the
time, the poor VSWR in the microwave oven chamber may fry the
magnetron tube in your microwave, so if you try this, put a
glass full of water in the oven with the paper as a "dummy
load".

19. $1000 in cash -- drug dealer
Even if they don't have anythign on you, they arrest your money. If your money does not hire itself a lawyer within 12 months (typically), the money is then given to the police department.
