Transcript of US-Aristide conversations released

The NY Times reports:

"While American officials insist that they did not force Mr. Aristide to resign, they acknowledge that they made it clear to him that they could not protect him if he clung to power, and that they offered to give him safe passage out of the country if he would leave by dawn on Sunday."

But the John_H news service has obtained secret CIA transcripts of the negotiations between US Secretary of State Colin Powell and Aristide.

Colin "Teeth" Powell: "Look we're sending some boys over to put you on a plane. The boss is a generous man, Jeanie. Get on the plane."

Jeanie "French" Aristide: "But we had a protection deal. For the oil. A deal Colin. We had a deal."

Colin Teeth: "Fugetabotit. That deal is finished. Done. Capiche?"

Jeanie French: "Just send some of your boys down. I'll fix my little problem. And then I'll double your cut. Look at me. I'm Begging. Talk to the boss."

Colin Teeth "What am I, God? I'm sorry my friend. This I cannot do. Fugetabotit."

Jeanie French: But, you're the most powerful family in the world. You have millions of soldiers."

Colin Teeth: "I know, Jeanie, I know. But the Boss, he says he wants his guy in. You should consider yourself lucky he did not send you a present like he sent Saddam Mustache's boys."

Jeanie French "But they tried to wack il Herberto. I just managed the store. Just like they told me."

Jeanie I love ya. You're like a brother. Get on the plane.

Jeanie French: "Please, Colin, I'm beg--"

Colin Teeth: "Get on the plane, Jeanie. The boys'll be there soon."
