what the conservative media bet on....
Novack and others counted on Sharpton or Dean....
When real patriotic americans refused to fall on their swords and began instead to choose between kerry and edwards.... I could see the "dear in the headlights" look coming on with most of them.

Now, there are many of those conservative talking heads who simply don't know what to say....

1. Nice Try Tucker & Robert !
Carlson's & Novack's tooting the horn of Sharpton & Kucinich was an overt cynical attempt to label the Democratic party as a party of extremist & "home boyz on the loose" . They were pandering to their NASCAR Dads racism & overall hatred of anything non-Bubba

Do you think that (in coat rooms everywhere) fellow journalists maybe giving him the snub for exposing valerie plame?

3. I think the former
I mean yeah, he has a right to protect his source and most journalists would buy that. But is it really acceptable to be so blantently a mouthpiece for the Bush Administration?
