Bush may visit my wife's place of employment this week.

Bush is coming to Bakersfield, CA this week. The owner of my wife's place of business thinks Bush will visit his manufacturing plant in Arvin, CA. Arvin is a small town on the outskirts of Bakersfield. It is primarily Hispanic and about 1/2 of the residents are illegal aliens.

The company is Salter Labs. My wife's boss kept saying that they were going to get a VIP visit and when she asked who he told her it was Bush. I don't think it is official yet but the most of the company's managers are right wing Bush fans. They have Bush and Reagan pictures everywhere.

Like me, my wife is a Bush hater so it is going to be rough on her if he shows up.

7. My wife does not talk about her political opinion at work

It is too risky to tell a bunch of wing nut managers that you are a Dem. My wife is a middle manager and she probably would be bounced if they found out.
