good news for aussies
latest polls indicate a victory for the labor party in the forthcoming election.

labor 54%
liberal (conservatives) 46%

years of constant lying and manipulation have come back to haunt Howard. I look forward to joint celebrations with my american and british friends as the war criminals are unseated one by one..

1. Do you think Howard will really get voted out?
I view him with the same disrespect and distrust that I do Bushco - but wasn't he re-elected after the "refugees in the drink" disaster?

2. that was a one off factor..
he cannot pull the same rabbit out the hat twice..people were fooled once, now we know the invasion of iraq was based on blatant lies ..this amongst other issues will see his demise..

3. Well, dudeness, I certainly hope the Australian voters
won't get fooled again. Howard is as bad for you folks as Shrub is for us. Australia is very important to the US; we need you folks, like Canada, to help keep us "grounded".

I'm visiting the Sydney Morning Herald later on - I read the Australian papers nearly as much as I do those scattered all over the US!

7. Would it be to his advantage to call it early?
I would think, with the facts coming to light, he'd want to wait. But when he goes, does that slimy Foreign Minister, Downer, go with him? Go Labor!!!
