Now that Kerry has the nomination locked up. The media knives are out.
Edited on Wed Mar-03-04 07:56 PM by Liberal_Guerilla
The last few weeks since Iowa, the media has been drooling all over Kerry. But now that he has pretty much locked up the nomination and the Bush political air war campaign"Shock and Awe" has begun, The media tramps have turned their pro Bush vampiness onto Kerry.

The climate has virtually changed overnight.

Subject change: Tweety just had Jack kemp on and Kemp said that Bush will win because he is a good guy and he has a vision for the economy in this country.

I just about blew an artery! "he has a vision for the economy in this country". Oh really Mr. Kemp?!! Where has that brilliant vision been for the last 3+ years? Where was his vision at when I have been struggling between unemployment and underemployment(I am educated with numerous skills)?

I think that for Bush to try and promote a vision for the country's economy for his next term is ridiculous. He should have come into office with that vision and executed it. Oh wait! he did, and now we are living his vision. So what will be different about Bush's America in the next four years? Nothing, that's what.

Stay tuned for a whole election season of republican pundits brought on to talking head shows to preach the virtues of Bush Co.

1. Dodd is a Dem that was all over Bush re the economy. Press release below
Dodd Calls for Protection of American Workers

February 17, 2004: Responding to the Bush Administration’s wrong headed conclusion that sending American jobs overseas will benefit an ailing U.S. economy, Senator Chris Dodd today announced the introduction of new legislation aimed at ensuring that hard-earned American tax dollars remain invested in America’s workers.

2. Are you sure it was Chris Dodd???
He's a liberal Dem senator from Conn. I can't believe he'd say that. Are you sure it wasn't Kit Bond, a GOP senator from Missouri?

BTW, I do find it revealing that they're talking about "vision" with an incumbent president. That means his record is very weak. Challengers campaign on vision, not incumbents.

11. That's a relief
Not surprised about Kemp's dumb economic vision remark. He's an avid supply-sider.

12. He kept calling Kerry a protectionist.
Like trying to protect American jobs is a bad thing. It's politicians like Kemp who have sold the rug out from under us.

8. I don't know about the Dodd thing,
but scumbag Peter Jennings was running down a long and unbelievably subjective list of Kerry's supposed downside. I wanted to take a bat to Peter's patrician head.

10. That doesn't sound like Chris Dodd!

And being from Connecticut, I know what I'm talking about.

Are you certain you aren't confusing Senator Dodd with somebody else?

15. It would have been worst against Dean.
He and his wife would have been steam rolled by the Bush machine. Nothing against Dean, it's just a fact.

16. I hate Jack Kemp
He's a big supply-sider. Someone should ask him if he's read, "Perfectly Legal", a book about how the rich screw the middle class.
