it certainly wouldn't suprise me if he had another group of people to throw his seething hatred on, but he frequently makes references to gay-friendly Jewish groups calling them things like "filthy sodomite-enabling Jews." However, the description of one of the latest fliers on his site is this:

WBC to picket sodomite Jew Wesley Clark (real name "Kanne") stumping for sodomite Jew John Kerry (real name "Kohn") -- Fri. Mar. 5, 8 p.m., Ramada Inn Downtown, Topeka

And now he goes out of his way to emphasize both of them are part Jewish and their Jewish names.

And now I need to take a shower. I just went out of curiosity to see what fliers he'd put up in light of all the recent gay marriages and now realize it probably isn't worth it check out a toxic waste dump out of curiosity...

held by Sam Brownback.
I'll have to hold my nose...but I'll vote for Brownback over Phelps.

has run for governor,A.G, and Congress...all under the Democratic banner.
4 or 6 years ago his son filed, last minute for A.G....
Thank god a loyal Dem. heard about it, and filed against him.
He won the primary and kept Phelps off the general election ballot.

Kansas, being such a weak democratic state, often doesn't even have an democrat candidate file for congress, or state wide offices. It leaves a huge opening for a Phelps to file, just to embarrass the party.

The Dems in KS have actually put up a candidate for the Senate race this year (Joan Ruff - who I don't think even has a website up yet.) in 2002, they neglected to even put up anyone as a candidate against Pat Roberts. Nothing more frustrating than the Democratic party in Kansas. *Sigh*

5. Fred Phelps hates himself

He is full of self hate and loathing but doesn't have a clue how to deal with it,so he projects that hate toward others.I have a strong suspicion he is gay himself,but is unable to reconcile his true nature with the hellfire and brimstone abomination that instills mortal fear in him.
