Christian related Site Informedchristinas.com (very interesting)
http://www.informedchristians.com/

They link to the progressive and other sites as well.

I'm not a christian or even religious but for those out
there who are this might be interesting to look at.

2. I think they're anything but
"informed christians," in the progressive sense. Here's why:

1) A little to much attention to end times scatology. "Why should christians be concerned with current events?"

2) Ignorant and hateful attitudes towards gays. The editor's "article" is illuminating.

3) Too much catholic-baiting using The Passion as an example. This guy think's Mel is trying to get everyone sucked into his Catholic faith. OK, that may be true. My point is if this website owner were comfortable with his beliefs he would not blame Mel for his brand of proselytizing.

3. it's kinda weird

but I thought it was interesting because it doesn't seem to be
in the typical vein of the right wing religious stuff.

Hopefully their end time viewpoints will lead them to see bush as satan.

8. Did you mean eschatology, supernova?
"A little to much attention to end times scatology. 'Why should christians be concerned with current events?'"

Or did you mean that a discussion of the end times was crap? :-)

4. Not all Christians are part of the Religious Right
There are more than just atheists defending the wall of seperation. Do not be suprised to see a couple of crosses on the left.

5. If you are looking for progressive Christian links
I have a pile on my website.

http://www.geocities.com/greenpartyvoter/liberalchristians.htm

And THIS site gives a great definition of what one might consider a progressive or liberal Christian to be: http://www.geocities.com/lib_christian_2000/liberal.htm
