Pro Israel ads running on CNN
Edited on Thu Mar-04-04 12:32 PM by wjittermoss
My friend just called to say that she was incensed about the pro Israel ads and the pro Saudi ad running on CNN and some other networks. The ads concerning Israel were particularly infuriating because of the way they cast all blame for the ME situation on the Palestinians and Arafat.
After her call I saw the ad. Our media are really whores for PNAC. If you thing the 9/11 ads for Bush are bad, wait until you see these ads.

5. I have seen those and they made me angry as hell!
Why aren't their shareholders raising hell about wasting all that money especially when it has been proven that they cheated the government?

2. this is part of another disturbing trend....
The "TV nation" gets more of its "information" from advertising than from objective reportage. Even much of the so-called broadcast journalism always has one eye on ratings and advertising dollars. We have largely embraced blatant propaganda as "information." It's a brave new world out there....

4. Bingo..."news", entertainment and advertising have all merged
And, yes, it does not bode well for the prospects of an Informed Citizenry...even if they wanted to be informed.
