Subj: In case you missed this ....

Alan Fram of the Associated Press reports how the White House would appear to be preparing both for reelection -- and for a spate of staff departures.

"President Bush is making an unprecedented request to use up to $1 million budgeted for a possible presidential transition to train top officials who would join his administration if he should win a second term."

It's apparently "the first time a president has sought to use public transition funds to prepare officials to enter a re-elected administration," Fram writes. "Democrats and experts on presidential transitions say the funds should not be used when a sitting president is re-elected."

3. He already knows he will be
"selected" again - by the Diebold machines and various and sundry opportunistic schemes they have been hatching for four years. Dirt bags - all of them - the American people should be ashamed if they even consider voting for this pile of garbage.

5. I would gladly give him $1 million in transition costs
to transition his ass back to the pig farm in Crawford. It would be a small price to pay.

8. Try This On....
Isn't money also allocated for the outgoing administration? I remember millions being thrown at Nixon after his resignation and the wing nuts harping about any expenses going to Clinton.

Maybe this is hedging a bet...kinda...and in a cyical GOOP way. Instead of this money for being a winner, this is to assume they lose...or at least in the eyes of the FEC or whomever doles out this money. The concept being that it takes more than 3 months to check out...and could be less considering what happened in 2000. If the regime wins, it reimburses the government.

Now before you call me naive, remember whose in control here and how they've lied and distorted to raid the treasury in the past. This way it doesn't look over-confident and if they get caught then they play the martyr game again. Plus assuredly, once they get the hands on the cash, it'll be a good long time until they return it if they have to.

No doubt, another GOOP attempt at grabbing even more of our money they don't need nor deserve. Stay tuned, another election year scam is sure to show up any minute.
