Do the Same-Sex Marriage Rights Include Adoption Rights?
If it's not an issue now, it will be. I know adoption has happened, but it is very difficult & through private agencies.

Anybody make a guess on what the implications would be?

Here's the website of the group that will be active on this issue in my neck of the woods:

1. Sure and same sex parent make good ones
Jeb's Florida allows gays to be FOSTER PARENTS but not adopt. But we know Jeb like * puts children first.

3. Marriage rights give EQUAL rights in all arenas
Which is why so many like "civil unions".

With civil unions, states (and the federal government) can pick and choose which "seperate but equal" rights are given to same sex couples.

What is so strange about gays adopting now is that they generally pay more for adoption services and are more willing to take children that most straight couples don't want (older kids, kids with developmental disorders, etc).

2. Depends on the state
Right now adoption laws are different in every state. Most states already allow gay people to adopt. But most of those are only single parent adoptions. California and a couple other states allow for two parent adoption from gay people. Utah does not allow any one who is single to adopt (gay or straight). Florida and another state that I can not remember does not allow gay adoptions by couples or single parents.

When marriage is legalized this will most likely be challenged in courts.

All the studies I have seen show GLBT parents make great parents, sometimes even surpassing the ability of the straight parents.
