1. Great message...
... but choose photos of the people at work, like the lower left one. The middle photo speaks eloquently to the exhaustion and the tears.

4. I agree.
We have to start targeting the people whose lives
Bush is ruining.

2. No, Not Appropriate
Leave September 11th alone. Don't trade on images from that awful event.

3. Tell that to Bush
If HE can do it, so can we.. The difference?? We did not tuck our tail and run like a scared little rabbit.. A REAL president would have overruled the SS and said .."Dammit, get me to DC ..NOW!"

The firemen did not hang around and read a book... they dropped everything and RAN to try and save people ...and for their efforts??

He would like nothing better than to eliminate the union that will fight for their decent wages and the heathcare they will need forever...those fumes and dust particles were LOADED with asbestos.. Bush and his talented "experts" LIED and said it was "safe"..

5. 2 Cents
Actually, to invoke this frame is to reinforce what Bushler wants to reinforce. Beleive it or not, most people associate 9/11 with Bush's finest hour.

It would be more effective to show fire fighters, rescue workers, and police in a normal everyday setting not associated with 9/11 to make the point about his disgraceful treatment of the protecive services. Let the public connect the dots on ther own without using these images.

Just my 2 cents. Nice work though.

12. Thanks, orwell!
Great idea to show first responders in their every day situations, not just this rare event. Most of us will never have to deal with something on the scale of 9-11, but we do have to be sure we have local police, firefighters, and EMS up and working.

Mention the number of fire stations that have been closed, loss of financial aid for payroll, equipment, etc.

6. Respecting those that died...
by having the decency and common sense to not capitalize on their tragedy for political gain is the best message we can send. Just because bush is a shameless scumbag is no reason to reduce ourselves to his level. There are far better and more effective ways to attack him then to use 9-11 imagery.

7. But we don't want to
get involved in a pissing contest. If we try to match ad for ad with these guys, we'll look petty and small, and any difference will be neutralized. Instead, I think it's better to stay above it and allow Dem surrogates to bash Bush and let him and his stammer and backtrack.

11. 9/11 or no 9/11 - - THIS NEEDS TO BE DISCUSSED
I honestly cant say one way or another - if Dubya is exploiting it, does that make it right if we do? Or are we hanging ourselves with our own self-righteousness if we don't?
