Illinois Gov's sister-n-law arrested at gay marriage protest in Chicago

WLS-AM in Chicago just reported that the Governor's sister-n-law, who is gay, was busted at a gay marriage protest at City Hall. She is also the daughter of an Alderman.

CHICAGO -- The daughter of powerful Chicago alderman Dick Mell was among those arrested in connection with a protest by advocates of issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples, the alderman said Thursday.

Deborah Mell was arrested during the protest in front of the Cook County Administration Building, 69 W. Washington St., according to Mell, who went to the scene.

Usually in Illinois the conservative political corrpution is so ingrained they have no problem instantly recovering from a media event. Not in this case. They must have some internal division amongst themselves.
