just got this from my friend who works for doggett re: tom coles
Edited on Thu Mar-04-04 04:16 PM by frylock
I sent my friend the piece about Tom Coles and his statement that "a vote against the re-election of President Bush is like supporting Adolph Hitler during World War Two." Well, she passed the article on to thier press secretary, who passed it on the the Dem Press Secretary's list serve. It was picked up by the Minority Whip, and may even be featured on inside politics on CNN later today! She says Keep em coming!!

6. With something like Harry Truman's response
about "Give 'em hell, Harry."

Paraphrasing, he said, "I just tell the truth and they think it's hell."

8. Remind him of how the Repugs treated Clinton
They called Clinton a murderer, a drug addict, a drug dealer and a rapist.

9. Cole's an ass...
Tom Cole pretends that he represents the people of Oklahoma's 4th Congressional District... He's certainly not a victim but he is a longtime political operative and an ass.

I'm sad to say that Mr. Cole and I live in the same Congressional District. :puke:

Best,
Mike

11. You have my sympathy.
It's almost sad to see these Bush* shills make an ass of themselves on print and on tv. I really think these people physically kiss his ass because they like the way it taste.

Let's see if you are against the current administration you are either unpatriotic or a terrorist (comments about the NEA last week). Yawn!

16. At the end, didn't he comment on the new
"Hispanic middle class"? That issue has not seen the light of day yet.

It really depends on where you live as to how many illegal immigrants, but in the area I live, 2 years ago, we had daily, 7 pages of want ads. Since then, most ads have bilingual preferred (meaning someone we can pay under the table with no benefits) and now we have 1 page of want ads.

Besides the economy, the only other issue is we are swamped, (I mean swamped) with mexican immigrants. How do I know, walk into a Walmart and you can't even move your cart because they have at least 5 children with them.

Before you say racist, let me explain. No health care, no immunizations. They can't be refused at the hospital so our healthcare cost go up.

Unfair? If I didn't immunize my children, if I evaded my income tax, I don't think I'd have a president cheering that on as a political advancement.

18. in California, bilingual employees are seen as an asset,
in fact bilingual government employees get a pay differential for the ability.

All children are immunized at will, regardless of citizenship status.

Public Health services, including womens health care, pre natal care and family planning services, are provided regardless of citizenship status.

Lots of families go with their kids shopping because they either can't afford day care, a sitter or a maid...or they like shopping with their kids.

Lots of Mexican families, immigrants, are legal. Lots aren't. Hard to tell just seeing them at WalMart.......

You sound overwhelmed with immigration personally. Have immigrants harmed you some how?

Also, respectfully, you sound a little pissed that some Mexicans have large families....

17. I think its funny. They are reduced to begging for mercy
for Smirk.

His policies and results suck and now all they can say is:"waaaaaa, you are being MEAN to our poor stupid pretzledent, sniff, sniff, sniff".

It requires no response...just a temper tantrum to be ignored.
