Wont It Be Lovely !!!
People keep calling Kerry a seasoned politician as though it were such a bad thing. Wont it be delightful to have a President who will not be a national embarassment. Other countries will no longer be able to say "Look at the USA. They Elected an illerate Chimpanzee for a President".

Ahh to have a President who will not sound like an ass every time he opens his mounth...the thought fills me with such joy...

1. He is definitely a better speaker, and much more telegenic

And he has an extraordinary talent for putting the most appalling policies into much more palatable language.

3. like the crusade, for one. medical treatment as a commercial product

For example, "Operation Kill the Iraqis and Steal their Oil" doesn't sound too good. It sounds so bad, in fact, even bush's people didn't want to call it that. "Operation Iraqi Freedom" sounds much nicer.

I am confident that Kerry and his staff will come up with even more attractive names for things.

6. OK. Take outsourcing jobs. Hot, hot topic. very sensitive.

bipartisan sensitive even. Republicans who have become disenchanted with bush are just as concerned about it as Democrats.

At the same time, bush and his gang are all set to try to paint Kerry as an anti-business socialist wacko. Plus Kerry has some good friends in the business community. Very good friends, who have brought him to the dance, in their own way, as much as the most starry-eyed suburban meetup hostess, who, incidentally, just got her job outsourced.

So what's Kerry's best move? Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

But he is a pro, and a damn good one. The man has talent. He stands up there and gives the best speech about NO MORE TAX BREAKS for companies that outsource American jobs!

The crowd roars! People who have themselves been outsourced stand up and cheer! They are with Kerry now, they are soooo with Kerry. He's got a vote, and if they haven't liquidated too much of their assets yet, he's got a little check from them.

But he hasn't alienated the business community either!

If you've just cut your personnel costs by 90%, what the hell do you care about a tax break?

They chuckle, shake their heads, that Kerry is something else! They are soooo with Kerry.
