While Howard Stern's long, kinda distinguished career is in jeopardy over indecency, I listened to this mp3 and wondered why Ingraham isn't being pulled, or cancelled, or called before Congress.

Howard Stern

Howard Stern says the end of his career is closer than the two years left on his contract. "I know that it's over for me," Stern said Wednesday morning. "I have been really good at predicting my career and I know when I'm outmatched. It's over for me as a broadcaster. I'm checkmated. All they gotta do is fine us and then we're gone. And there's nothing we can do about it."

But even with comments like that, Stern is not going down without a fight. For the past two days the syndicated morning man has been attacking those he feels are his oppressors - Clear Channel, the FCC and the Bush Administration. Yesterday (3/2), he was pondering the idea of a Million Moron March on Washington with a legion of his faithful fans. "Can you imagine CNN having to cover this and putting the Million Moron March up on the screen?" he joked when the idea was hatched.

7. Tucker interviewed Britnay

She says Tucker got to interview the sex kitten Britnay. her sidekick/co-host asked Tucker got laid by Britnay. She said Tucker was a happily married man. Even though I do not care for Laura Ingrahm I do not think this adds up to real indency especially not the likes of Howard Stern. I think liberal must bring hard evidence of indency against conservatives. I believe they must put out clips of conservatives making racial statements, using curse words, and/or really saying something indenct. What Ingrahm said was not really that bad. They could have and should have picked a better example.

Stern never said that word on his show.

The closest Stern ever came to that was when he had his 'funeral for WNBC' and Grandpa Al Lewis got on the mic and said 'Fuck the FCC!'

And Laura's sidekick didn't say 'got laid.' He said 'fuck her.'

Did you listen to the clip, of do you have some sort of 'bad word translator' implanted in your head that hears 'got laid' when someone says 'fuck?'

Just wondering.

PS: And for the record, Stern didn't get suspended for anything he said - or anyone in his employ said. He got suspended for something a caller said. So how is Howard indecent for not dumping the delay fast enough, and Ingraham gets a pass for someone who actually works on the show using a profanity on-air?

Just exactly how does that work? I'm interested in hearing your explanation.

14. I thought he said something different

I listened the the segment two times and I thought he asked if "Tucker got the pucker." I am not the only one who makde the mistake. Someone else said what he said rhymed with Tucker. After listening to the segment again after your post I realize what he actually said. A apologize what he said was worthy of being called indecent. If Howard Stern got pulled of the airwaves she should get pulled off. What company handled her sindication

If you had not written your post I would not have know the truth about what he said. Also, it was your post that I was talking about when I said other had thought he had said "Did Tucker get the pucker", but now a realize what you meant when you wrote rhymes with Tucker. What he said does rhyme with Tucker, I just did not realize it at the time. I hope your cold gets better.

11. There Are Multiples Levels of Offensiveness in INGRAHAM

There is her wingnut bimbo level, just her political wingnut self. Then there is her wingnut hypocrisy, having an affair with Asa HUTCHINSON while being one of the barracudas on CLINTON. BROCK documents, not only her crawling on all fours across a barroom floor and her needy affairs, but politically her telling him she didn't believe half of her wingnut spewings, plus that she, COULTER, and BROCK never had a serious political discussion, just hatefulness and mocking the least fortunate in society. But capping it all, is her conversion last year to an Opus Dei type of thing (I don't know whether she is actually IN Opus Dei). As always in certain topics like this it's THE HYPOCRISY---NOT--- the other topics (religion or sexual identity). Without questioning her current professed faith, how is her hatefulness reconciled with "religion"?

BROCK didn't say in the book what the gossip was. Now we know that part of it must have been about the hillbilly heroin, and there's probably more. But it's still a wonderment what the gossip about WILL is. We know that he DID cheat in the CARTER-RAYGUN debates with CARTER's purloined debate prep books. It was funny when the WILL gossip topic came up before that a couple of posters speculated on what it could be: 1) That he screwed Nancy. 2) That, really, he HATES baseball.
