In fact, he seems more compassionate, concerned about the common man, and against big-business than the current frontrunner.

If he has an ego (wich I don't't seem to detect), he deserves it. He's accomplished a lot in his long life. At least he doesn't have an annoying sense of entitlement to everybody's votes (THAT'S egotistical). It's up to the Democratic candidate to work hard to earn votes, not win them by default.

What's wrong with this country is that Bush isn't the one with the 6%.

There was a time when someone with the morals of George Wallace or David Duke never had a chance in the big time. Now it's all turned on its head and we've got George Wallace and David Duke all rolled up in one package with a few added touched for bad measure thrown in.

In a country like what this one is supposed to be like we would be having presidential races between men like John Kerry and Ralph Nader, who are both basically decent, good men.

It's a shame that Democrats have to be afraid of Bush getting votes. We should be using him for toilet paper. How did it get this bad? What's wrong with this picture?

If not the PP, they'll blame Jesse Ventura and the Independence Party.

Instead of trying to pin the "blame" on others, why not find a way to bring the opposition into the fold?

Dems have a tendency to blame others lately. Nader is running becuase he feels that this country needs him. he sees that Bush and Kerry are Big Business bitches, and that someone needs to change the system now. If you sit by and do nothing to stop evil, that makes you evil, right? Besides, if they even let Nader in the building, how will bush face him? There is nothing bush can say to him that will help himself but not also be a lie. Nader has saved millions of lives, while bush's count is almost ten thousand into the red.

I thought Nader had saved millions of lives. Doesn't this make him a good man? Is he to blame for the world's overpopulation? Is that it? Is that why so many people hate him? You should go to his website. He has a wealth of anti-shrub info. including more than a dozen policies that he opposes, yet signes off on. It's in TX. He has to sign a paper before they will let him run again.

I think Bush stole 2000, would've done it without Nader, and plans to try more-o'-the-same for 2004. Why waste time attacking Nader? Nader's been a real gem for as long as I can remember: we ought to be making peace with him.

And, by the way, Bush is such an unqualified disaster, I won't be casting any meaningless protest vote for Nader. But the day after the election, lots of us will continue to remember what Nader has said and fought for.
