Mike Malloy update!!
:hi: :hi: :hi:

Found this on www.mikemalloy.com hoping to find good news there. So far it doesn't sound like he and Kathy have found another gig yet, but I sure miss him! How about the rest of you out there? My evening just aren't the same! :(

I even listen to Bernie Ward at times, but he's not the same as Mike!

From the www.mikemalloy.com website:

KATHY'S HAVING A BABY GIRL!!!  :toast:

Just an update, Truthseekers! Kathy had an ultrasound and the experts agree - it's gonna be a girl! The due date is still August 4, 2004 and all seems well with the baby so far. We're considering the name "Molly." Too Irish?

Also, we're still working on our next radio gig, please hang in there and keep checking here for updates.

*************************

That's all I have for now. Hope to be hearing more good news soon for both of them! :D

4. I miss you, too, Mike!
I hope you get back on the airwaves very soon!

:yourock:

(This is assuming he actually reads this thread. I know he checks out DU occasionally.)

**************************************************

I almost called in to his show once when he was lambasting fundies, but I was afraid I'd break down and cry. As an ex-fundy with Bush-supporting, fundy family members, I feel alone and heartbroken sometimes. :(

He's dead-on about how dangerous fundies are. It makes me sick when I realize that I was a part of that at one time. :scared:

5. It's too quiet and calm around here
I sure do miss his broadcasts. He kept it real. Nothing like honesty and passion.

I listen to Hartman replays sometimes and he's fine. But he's more of a morning type atmosphere. I need rage and satire in the evenings after all the news of the day. Can you imagine what Mike would be saying about the shrub's poltical ads these past two nights!

Nice about the baby girl. And Molly is a great name! "Singing cockles and mussles a live a live oh!"

6. Molly Malloy

That is a fine Irish name indeed! Is Kathy Irish too by chance? :D

I'd love to know what Mike would say about the events of the past week!

He is a breath of fresh air. I sometimes watch the free speech channel on TV but they tend to run the same programs over and over again. I do like Amy Goodman though.

No word on where he might end up - what about that new liberal radio station (Central Air is it??) - maybe they'll hire him if they are smart.

I wonder how many people listened to him anyway? It must have been many. I list myself; no decent radio stations around here like that, muchless Malloy the Great!

I'll have to check out Hartman, but I agree with the rest of the pack around here - nothing close to Malloy any of them are.

I almost busted my gut (literally!) when he was doing the Rush Limbaugh story! God that WAS funny!!! LOL!!! :D :D :D
