How about a V-Chip for political ads?
Inventors listen up. There is a market out there for a device that would block out political ads. You could put this Political Ad V-Chip in your TV set and it would block out ads so you would not have to see them. Maybe the ads could be replaced by some nice nature images. I can't imagine how hard it must be this year for people who live in swing congressional districts, in swing states, where there is also a pivotal senatorial or gubernatorial race going on. For such people, and especially for those people who have long since decided who they will vote for, a V-Chip for political ads would be a welcome device.

1. How exactly would that work? For the technically challenged.
